Susan recognizes not everyone who delves into their ancestry is interested in building a multi-generational tree. For many, it can be a small snippet of information and history that will tie them forever to their own "being".
The field of genealogy is really broken down into a number of parts; data collection being one and connecting and re-connecting families being the other. While the rest of the genealogy world focuses on data collection, so vital to the industry, this site has been designed to help others start a new journey, getting involved in genealogy for a very different purpose. That purpose is exploring self through an account of the origin and historical development or our ancestors. It's about understanding, its about acceptance, its about forgiveness, its about tolerance!Â
The focus will be on ...
learning the truth about ourselves and others...
weaving a life rich in the fabric of our past...
learning tolerance, offering forgiveness and bringing peace to this earth!
Let's imagine this world if the younger generations would participate as well.
Susan loves challenges. She loves helping others get started and focused on their research and she loves to immerse herself in projects from time to time when the spirit moves her. She did so just recently! It was the compelling words she received from an individual which formed the impetus to bring together two distinct major industries for the common good. It read in part:
"Because of your wise tenacity, we have received information about our family that makes us see the world in a newer (slightly adjusted!) way, and ties us more than ever to the inspiration of our mom and our Dad, who lived through so much, and whose stories we hadn't the time or foresight to completely absorb or pay heed to before they were compelled to leave us here back on earth.
In musical terms, when I think of my mom's family, and of her own death, I hear Henryk Gorechi's "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs". To me it really sounds like the literally unspeakable experiences of that time, and somehow, resolution through knowledge and the finality of acceptance of what happened and what must never happen again.
There are so many things to write about it cannot be done in a simple e-mail."
