Matt Johnston - Tpstry
Matt Johnston is the founder of Tpstry, a website that helps families collect individual family memories and combine them into a larger,
richer picture of the past. Matt has been architecting and developing internet related products for the past 15 years. In 1996, he created
thebackpacker.com, a community website related to wilderness backpacking and sold the site to Demand Media in 2007. Through the
years Matt has developed online content management systems and back office applications for several national magazine companies. Matt
earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech, but decided that the internet sounded more exciting as a career
choice.
